What is a Futon Cover?
Futon Covers provide both protection for your futon as well as add a decorative touch to your room. Our futon covers are available in hundreds of fabrics. We have futon covers to fit all budgets and decorating schemes. We also have a large selection of coordinating
bolsters and pillows as well as fabrics that can be used for window treatments,
etc. With over 400 + fabrics available, you should be able to find a futon cover that suits your decorating needs and your budget!
What size futon cover do I Need?
If you are unsure of the size of your futon, please refer to our Measuring Guide before ordering. Most of the the queen covers that we sell are exchanged for a full because the buyer really has a full size futon
(which accounts for 90% of futons) and has ordered the wrong size cover. Take a few extra minutes to measure and be sure.

What is the thickness of the Futon Cover?
Our standard futon cover fits futons from 6 to 8
inches thick. However, more and more deluxe futon mattresses are coming onto the market,
measure 9" or even 10" thick. If you have such a thick futon - don't worry, we
make covers for those also. To get such a loft, simply select desired thickness
in dropdown box next to the size. If so if you are unsure about the thickness of your futon, please measure before ordering. A cover can be customized to fit your futon
perfectly.
How to measure futon:
1. Lay your mattress out on a flat surface such as the floor
2. Relax fibers by shaking your futon (for best
results you may beat it with baseball bat)
3. With a soft tape measure, measure the length,
width and loft (thickness) of the futon mattress.
Measure seam to seam. The
depth is important in determining the loft of the mattress. It is more accurate
to measure your futon mattress at the corner. If you find your mattress loft
measures 6 to 8 inches - buy a standard size. If the loft is greater then
8 inches, select the proper size in dropdown box. We can customize your futon cover to fit your mattress.
Please note: Custom thickness covers are not returnable so it is
always advisable to order fabric swatch before
purchasing your custom cover. This way, you can be certain of your fabric choice. Swatches are
available at nominal fee of 50 cents per swatch.
How are your futon covers constructed?

We do not use flimsy sheeting material in the
sewing of our futon covers.

construction.
All our futon covers are overlocked to prevent fraying.

All of our futon covers are sewn with the same fabric on the front, back and sides of the cover, so that you may flip your futon mattress for added wear. Many lower priced futon covers only have the decorative fabric on one
front, with an inexpensive backer fabric which makes it impossible to flip your mattress and have the same fabric appear on each side.
How do I take care of my futon cover?
To ensure that your futon cover will give you years of comfort and use, the following care is recommended:

Blot with dry cloth or paper towels, then spot-clean spills immediately with a damp cloth;

Find attached care label and follow cleaning instructions provided by the futon cover manufacturer;

All of our futon and pillow covers are manufactured with the same fabric on both sides to allow futon and pillow to be flipped over for added wear. Flip futon monthly to ensure even wear, just like you would do with a conventional mattress. If the pattern on your futon cover permits, you may also rotate futon from top to bottom and bottom to top;

Vacuum dust and hair from your futon and pillows with the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner;

Do not attempt to clean your futon and pillows with harsh chemicals as these may discolor and break down the fabric.
